What we collect, and what we do with it.
Written to be read. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it in plain terms.
Who we are
Kinetic Recruiters is a recruitment and staffing firm operating in India. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described below.
Registered address: , , , India.
What we collect and why
We collect only what we need to do the job you have asked us to do. Each purpose is separate — agreeing to one does not sign you up to another.
- Name, email address and phone number
- To reply to your enquiry, or to contact you about a role you applied for.
- Your CV and its contents (work history, education, skills)
- To assess your suitability for the role you applied for and for similar roles.
- Company, role and headcount, for hiring enquiries
- To understand the vacancy and prepare a shortlist.
- Notice period and anything you write in the message field
- To advise on availability and represent you accurately to an employer.
We do not collect sensitive information such as caste, religion, health or biometric data, and you should not send it to us. We do not knowingly process the data of anyone under 18.
Who we share it with
If you apply for a role, we share your CV and contact details with the employer hiring for it — that is the point of applying, and we tell you which employer before we do it wherever the client permits us to name them.
We also use a small number of processors to run the service: an email provider to deliver messages, and a hosting provider to serve this website. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes. We do not sell personal data to anyone, ever.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to answer them and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. Candidate data is kept for up to two years from your last contact with us, so we can approach you about relevant roles — after which it is deleted.
You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time, and we will, unless a law requires us to keep it.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act 2023 you may:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you, and why.
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
- Ask us to erase your data, where we are not required to keep it.
- Withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights if you cannot.
- Complain to the Data Protection Board of India if we do not resolve it.
To exercise any of these, email hr@kineticruiters.com. We respond within 30 days.
Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing hr@kineticruiters.com with the word “withdraw” and the address you used. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent was, and costs you nothing.
Withdrawal does not undo anything already done lawfully while consent was in place — for example, a CV already sent to an employer.
Grievance Officer
If something has gone wrong, raise it with our Grievance Officer and we will deal with it directly.

A note on recruitment fraud
We never charge candidates a fee, at any stage.
We will never ask you to pay for registration, training, onboarding or a placement, and we will never ask for your bank details in order to offer you a job. If someone contacts you using our name and asks for money, it is not us — report it to hr@kineticruiters.com.
